12 Steps, the next WA meeting, I was strung out, yanno? I panhandled for loose nuggets outside the the morose columns of the Panvocalic Exchange until someone dropped a turnpike in my hat. I thought no-one cared. And yet, in that moment, I saw the Universe of Etymology open up and give me a glimpse of the future. I have my higher power and I keep it safe, God bless. Amen to a list of religious incantantions, Brother Vowel Harmony! Pages turn as does the world. You'll find me here, hear here(!), on the intersection of Fourth and Prozac until kingdom come (v: move toward, travel toward something or somebody or approach something or somebody).
Also: seismosaurus.

It's actually pretty cool. I pay attention to weird little dictionaries and lexicons now in a way I didn't really before (unless the specific subject matter interested me).

Agreed. Mind you, such books have always interested me, but post-Wordie, even more so. :-)
